Pain is a seriously under-recognized problem in companion animals, and treating that pain can result in a longer, happier life for your pet. Would you know if your pet was in pain? Our companion animals are very good at disguising any discomfort they may be feeling. In recent years, the veterinary profession has become more aware that untreated pain can seriously affect your pet’s quality of life.
Fortunately, there are many ways that we can intervene. Geriatric discomfort, post-operative pain management, and injury recovery are addressed using weight management, physical therapy, acupuncture, and pharmaceuticals.
One of our doctors is one of the few veterinarians in the country to be triple certified as a Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner, a Canine Rehabilitation Veterinarian, and a Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist.
