Our roots run deep in the Katy area – since our founding in 1981, we have been a committed partner to pet parents in the Katy area and have become a leader in full-service veterinary care, providing the best in medical, diagnostic, surgical, and dental care. We pride ourselves on our long-term relationships, sometimes spanning generations, with our Katy family. Curbside Service

Curbside drop off and pick up is available for appointments and prescription refills! Appointments are available 8 AM to 6 PM daily, Monday–Friday. When you arrive, park in your RESERVED SPACE (near the side door next to Fireplug) and call from your car. One of our staff members will bring your order right out!

Call in your prescription refill request or food order for next-day pickup. One of our receptionists will take your request for authorization by a doctor. When your order is complete, we will call to let you know it is ready, take payment over the phone, and schedule appointment time for pick up.

In the almost four decades since we opened, Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic has grown by leaps and bounds. We now have seven full-time vets and two part-time vets which allows for our days to be filled with dogs, cats, birds, and exotic animals coming in and out of our doors!

Veterinary Services

Dr. Richard Croft

Dr. Croft grew up in Houston and has been with Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic since 1985, the same year he graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Croft chose to spend his career at Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic due to the dedication of the employees, the compassion of the clientele, and the warmth of the community. In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Croft enjoys caring for birds and exotic animals.

Dr. Croft has been married for over 30 years and has two grown sons.

Our Team

Dr. Elizabeth Free


Dr. Free was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but she has spent the majority of her years in Texas, and is very excited to be back in the Katy area. She graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, in 2001. During the past 18 years, she has worked in both general practice and emergency medicine and enjoys soft tissue surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Free enjoys shooting sporting clays, running 5Ks, and spending time with her family.

Our Team

Dr. Susan Randlett-Price


After graduating from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Randlett helped to found Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic in 1981 with Dr. Rebecca Nichols. She has watched with pride as Kingsland Blvd Animal Clinic has grown to provide the Katy community with the highest standards of veterinary care for their pets. A long-time breeder of Persians, Dr. Randlett has a special interest in cats.

Dr. Randlett is married and has one grown daughter. Dr. Randlett divides her time between her home in Texas which she shares with an assortment of dogs, cats, and horses, and her second home in Colorado.
